The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) and the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation (CMRF) have made a joint investment into five research projects, which explore the health implication
HRC funded Malaghan Institute of Medical Research scientists Professor Graham Le Gros and Dr Elizabeth Forbes-Blom, have shown that under special circumstances, having a child’s skin come into contact with peanuts is all that is required for them to develop an allergic immune response.
The HRC and the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation wish to advise researchers of the above RFP, seeking to fund a series of research projects that will explore the health impacts of the Canterbury earthquake and associated seismic events.
