Lay summary
This grant is necessary to inform the development of a research project investigating existing women-initiated and community-based healthy lifestyle programmes in Pacific communities of South Auckland. This project will examine the effectiveness of digital technologies in sustaining such programmes. The main study will explore women's aspirations, creative ideas and creative solutions via digital technologies, to increase the responsiveness of public health policymakers and funding to sustain these community based programmes and enhance women's health leadership. To achieve this will require significant consultation and advice from the Pasifika communities and health experts.
