Lay summary
This proposed project is an extension of the project titled 'Marginalism, racism and tokenism: The experiences of Māori dietitians and students', which was funded by a 2023 Ngā Kanohi Kitea Project Grant. The 2023 project involved conducting a survey and a focus group to explore the challenges and experiences of Māori dietitians and students being exposed to marginalism, tokenism, and racism in the spaces where they learn, train and work. This project aims to share the findings from the foundational study through wānanga, publications, digital engagements and dissemination through dietetics professional communities.
