This will be a qualitative study that explores the mental wellbeing and belongingness of Samoan students' at Waipapa Taumata Rau, (University of Auckland). The findings of this study will address the gap in Aotearoa New Zealand research by exploring how Samoan students experience university and identify areas that impact their mental wellbeing and belonging. This research can be useful for universities, policymakers and relevant organisations in developing tools and resources to best support students wellbeing and belonging, particularly Pasifika students who are an under-served student community in our universities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
