Lay summary
Elderly falling has major consequences for health and quality of life. In partnership with the School of Physiotherapy, I will do a scoping literature review of the current exercise practice in place for elderly falls in Pacific communities. I will then investigate the usefulness of two questionnaires (AAA and AFRIS) within Pacific communities. The evaluation of the questionnaires will be determined using a diabetes exercise group who meet once a week at the School of Physiotherapy, Dunedin. This could help to decrease the amount of elderly falls within Pacific communities by knowing what information is useful, and how to deliver that information.
