Lay summary
The InterRAI is a tool used to assess the needs of the elderly and to determine what level of support is needed for them. I will be looking at Māori whānau experiences with the InterRAI system. This is part of a larger research project, and I will go with the research team to interviews with whānau and assessors. I will ask my own set of questions about their experiences and whether the InterRAI assessment process meets the needs of Māori whānau.
