Lay summary
This study investigates the infectious disease risk factors present in NZ Pacific children's everyday environments. The study uses image data from Kids'Cam to determine, from the Pacific participants' perspectives, the features of their day-to-day lives that increase their risk to infectious diseases. The findings will better inform interventions to reduce the risk factors present in Pacific children’s lives and contribute to improvements in their health. The findings of the current study will also be used to compare and contrast to the risk factors present in the lives of children living in Tonga, using previous findings from Kids’Cam Tonga.
