Lay summary
This grant will support the writing of an academic publication based on research from my PhD thesis, which focuses on an emerging Niue research framework, Hihi. This framework, developed to understand how cardiovascular disease, health, and wellbeing was conceptualised among Niue women, aligns with the research process and comprises of five phases: (1) Amaamanakiaga (to plan); (2) Oko (to collect); (3) Tauteuteaga (to prepare); (4) Tui (to thread); and (5) Fakaalofa (to gift with love). The aim is to contribute new knowledge about Niue research methodologies, an area where there is little written.
