The HRC, Breast Cancer Cure, and The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation previously established the Breast Cancer Research in New Zealand initiative to fund innovative research into breast cancer in New Zealand.
The funding partners are pleased to announce that a third round of funding through this partnership will be outlined in a Request for Proposals (RFP) to be released in late-January 2016. The funding partners are seeking high quality, innovative research that will seek to improve and ultimately ensure survival from the disease.
The RFP and all associated documentation will be included on the HRC website and on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).
A total funding pool of approximately $400,000 (exclusive of GST) is available for allocation. The funding partners invite applications for funding of up to $200,000 (exclusive of GST) and duration of up to 24 months.
Further details on the scope of the research, timeframes and deadlines for this initiative will be included in the RFP.
