Breast Cancer Research in New Zealand 2017
The HRC, Breast Cancer Cure, and The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation previously formed an initiative to fund innovative research into breast cancer in New Zealand.
The funding partners are now pleased to announce that a fourth round of funding through this partnership will be outlined shortly in a Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP will seek high quality, innovative research that aims to identify potential immune therapies for breast cancer, with a focus on targeted treatments, aspects of early detection, prognostic and predictive diagnoses, and preventative therapies.
Applications are welcome for funding of up to $200,000 (exclusive of GST) and duration of up to 24 months. A total funding pool of approximately $400,000 (exclusive of GST) is available.
The RFP and all associated documentation for this initiative will be released on the HRC website and on the Government Electronic Tenders Service on 3 October 2016. The registration deadline for this initiative will be early November 2016, and the full application deadline will be in early December 2016.
Further details on the scope, timeframes and funding available will be included in the RFP.
