The Sustainable Healthcare and Climate Health Aotearoa Conference 2021 is open to anybody interested in ensuring the health sector in New Zealand creates an equitable pathway to carbon neutrality by 2025 in line with the new public sector target recently announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The programme will include presentations and interactive discussions focusing on our carbon reduction work and the opportunities it presents to create a better and more sustainable future for all New Zealanders. Sustainable healthcare can bring wide co-benefits to health, health equity and well-being and the conference will address topics of mitigation, adaptation, risk, opportunity, and innovation.
Delegates will include clinicians, nurses, doctors, policymakers, researchers, architects, consultants, sustainability champions, operational managers, suppliers, procurement agencies, board members and students – all keen to create a healthy planet that supports healthy people.
