Develop a research proposal for submission for funding to address the development of strategies for de-stigmatising mental health and substance use problems among Indigenous youth in Aotearoa New Zealand, and specifically youth who abuse solvents. The research will be based on universal values and principles and mechanisms for translating them into a context-appropriate model and plans, for use within Aotearoa New Zealand solvent abuse treatment services. To develop an international research proposal to address strategies in New Zealand, Canada and Australia. This current seed grant will be used to develop the NZ component of the proposal.
