Clinical Research Training Fellowship
Lay summary
Magnetic nanoparticles can improve the detection of cancer by enhancing T2 weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A novel synthesis has been developed to produce iron nanoparticles with magnetic properties superior to the commercial standard. This project will apply these particles to improve the detection of cancer in a mouse model.
