Lay summary
The aims of this project are to create a sustainable, collaborative, responsive, high-quality Pacific NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Observatory which will provide the monitoring and evaluation evidence, research capacity, knowledge translation and action support needed to reduce NCDs in Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs). The vision is that the Observatory will become the major driving force for increasing high-quality NCD monitoring, research, and evaluation in the Pacific and will become a major catalyst for enacting the evidence-based policies and programs needed to reduce the NCD crisis across the whole Pacific region.
