Lay summary
Huntington's disease is a genetic disorder that affects all people including Maori. It has major implications for the whanau who have the disease. It is also important to gain a better understanding of the scientific basis of the disease so that the people can be helped. This project will provide an invaluable opportunity to gain a hands-on experience in the lab and vital appreciation for Tikanga Maori as specifically developed in the lab to be respectful to Maori culture.
