Lay summary
The purpose of this grant-in-aid funding proposal is to write and publish a publication regarding the youth action orientated methodology used by Pou Tuia Rangahau during a research project that sought to better understand the factors which influence the decisions and choices made by taiohi Maori in relation to both using and not using tobacco, alcohol and illegal drugs. We wish to document the youth-oriented methodology and process of engagement that we utilised with taiohi as a way of sharing with other researchers how we ensured results could inform strategies that 'make sense' to taiohi.
