Lay summary
The overarching question is, What are the key components for the provision of traditional Maori healing services in collaboration with primary healthcare organisations? The study will address two research objectives. These are to; identify the range of processes and systems for organising health services involving traditional healing, and develop a framework for a model of integrative services that aligns traditional Maori healing with Western medical practices in the management of illness and promotion of wellness amongst Maori communities.
