Reporting requirements for recipients
Does this include me?
The HRC requires that you submit progress and final or completion reports within set timelines for all contracts and awards. These requirements are set out in the various explanatory notes and the guidelines accompanying application forms. Typically, reports are due annually and at completion. Some contracts, e.g. partnerships, may prescribe other reporting intervals.
Additionally, the HRC may request special reports for change events, review processes, etc.
Why reports?
Reporting is an integral and vital part of assisting the HRC to realise its mission and its responsibility to government, as well as its peer-review methodologies.
This assists HRC with:
- Progress and Achievements Report to Ministers
- evaluation of the HRC investment and research outputs
- generation of better policy and strategy
- review of longer term, strategic research
- communicating research outputs to the general public.
