The HRC and the New Zealand Health Strategy: Providing Evidence to Meet Health Goals
HRC report presents national health research findings for stakeholders
The HRC and the New Zealand Health Strategy: Providing Evidence to Meet Health Goals
This document summarises national research of relevance to our 13 most pressing health issues and is designed as an easy reference for those needing the most up-to-date findings.
The topics covered include cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity and mental illness. Each section provides an overview from a recognised expert in the field, information on current HRC contracts and a synopsis of published research abstracts, grouped according to the focus of the research and worded to make the findings understandable to those without research training.
The HRC hopes that this report will prove to be a valuable resource to stakeholders throughout the health sector and also to those conducting or funding research. Contact details of the investigators are provided for the research profiled, to facilitate further enquiries and networking between research groups.
Please contact Catherine Ramzan at the HRC if you would like to receive a copy of this report in CD format.
