The Research Policy, Strategy and Evaluation Group covers a diverse range of activities that include:
Development of Strategies
Administering the Research Portfolio system, including convening the policy committees and running consultation processes to determine research priorities and the relevance of research to the priority populations.
Evaluation
Development of the HRC's evaluation framework and ongoing evaluation programme and reporting to the Minister of Research Science and Technology and the Minister of Health.
