Call for Abstracts:

The HRC is holding its biennial Hui Whakapiripiri aimed at those who share an interest in Māori health and Māori health research. The theme for the 2012 Hui is:

Translating research into Māori health gains
Progressing the link between research, policy and practice

This overarching theme extends from the six goals encapsulated throughout Ngā Pou Rangahau, The Strategic Plan for Māori Health Research 2010 – 2015. The Strategy content arose out of consultation with Māori communities, providers, researchers and policy makers.

Each conference presentation should be 15 minutes long and presenters should be willing to answer questions on their research at the end of their presentation.

Abstracts of up to 300 words should be emailed to Amy Norman, telephone: +64 9 303 5081, by 5pm, Friday 30 March 2012. The Māori Health Committee will review and select the successful papers for presentation.

Please complete the Abstract Submission Form below. Only Abstracts submitted in this format will be accepted for the Hui.

For more information please contact Jaylene Wehipeihana on telephone: + 64 9 303 5207.
